Fact #1: Colleges Use Facebook To Evaluate Applicants
500 top colleges were surveyed and 10% of them said they use Facebook to help evaluate applicants. Of those 10%, 38% said what they saw on the site had a negative impact on how they viewed the applicant. Something to keep in mind for those who put everything on Facebook.

Fact #2: EMT Misbehaving

In 2009 a New York EMT did one of the worst things he could ever do. He took pictures of a woman who had been strangled and beaten and posted it on his Facebook profile. He was later fired and arrested for official misconduct.

Fact #3: Fifth Largest Country In The World

As we all know, Facebook is huge. At the time I am writing this article they have 800 million active users. If it was a country it would be the fifth largest in the world.

Fact #4: 85% Of Women Say Their Facebook Friends Annoy Them

In a survey done earlier this year, 85% of women admitted that their Facebook friend irritate them. They also said they don’t like unsolicited political views and people pretending to have perfect lives.

Fact #5: Almost Half Of Parents Are Facebook Friends With Their Kids

How awkward is this? Facebook is suppose to be a place to let loose and have a little fun. But with 48% of parents being able to see what their kids are talking about, Facebook might not be so fun after all.

Fact #6: 48% Of People Look At Their Ex’s Profile On A Regular Basis

Can’t quite let go of your ex hey? Well according to a survey done by YouTango you are not alone. 48% of people check in on their ex’s on Facebook. Some say this shows just how dangerous social networking profiles can be.

Fact #7: Those Under 35 Check Facebook After Sex

I don’t know about you, but I like to go to sleep after sex. But according to a survey done by Retrevo, 36% of Facebook users under the age of 35 check their page after sex.
